The 39th Annual Lithuanian Festival takes place this weekend running Saturday November 7th and Sunday November 8th at the Lithuanian Music Hall. Enjoy the world’s best potato pancakes, see Lithuanian dance and music performances and take part in other celebrations of this unique heritage! Free.
The Peddler’s Village Apple Festival takes place this Saturday November 7th and Sunday November 8th in beautiful Bucks County. Enjoy this annual celebration of all things apple including apple butter, apple cider, apple fritters, apple dumplins and lots more! Plus enjoy family friendly entertainment and apple pie-eating contests and more. Free admission and free parking.
Enjoy Pirate Adventure Day and free admission to the beautiful Brandywine River Museum of Art this Sunday November 8th between 9:30am – 12pm. Free until 12 Noon. Visitors will experience a pirate adventure, create pirate themed crafts, hunt for treasures and listen to pirating tales presented by Hedgerow Theatre. Free (arrive before noon).
Head to the Philadelphia Magic Gardens this Sunday November 8th from 12 Noon – 4pm for the PECO Family Jams focusing on edible mosaics this weekend. Kids will be inspired to make their own edible masterpiece using brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Family friendly tours take place at 1pm or 3pm to learn more about the Philadelphia Magic Gardens and its creator Isaiah Zagar. Free with admission. $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12.
