Baby Loves Disco returns to Philly’s World Café Live this Saturday February 28th at 11am. Bring the whole family out to dance their little hearts out. It’s the kids’ turn to get a little dressed up and dance to a live DJ as well as enjoy other activities like face paint, arts and crafts, and more. $15.
Tyler Arboretum hosts their annual Pancake breakfast and maple sugaring celebration on Saturday February 28th starting at 8am. Kids will lean from Tyler’s education staff how sap gets turned into maple syrup and also try their hand at tree tapping too! The Art of the Brick continues Friday February 27th through Sunday March 1st at the Franklin Institute. The Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest fun runs all weekend long with a magical winter landscape including a dazzling light show, winter garden and forest, shopping and refreshments in the new “Lodge” with indoor fireplaces, rustic décor and outdoor heat lamps plus shopping at ArtStar with gifts and handmade items. And of course, the outdoor ice skating rink as the centerpiece of all the fun. Admission to Winterfest is free. Skate admission $3. Skate rental $10.

PNC Arts Alive presents “All in the Family” this Sunday March 1st from 10am – 12noon at the Brandywine River Museum of Art featuring the works of three generations of Wyeth family artists and the chance for kids to create one-of-a-find family portraits. Free admission until noon.
Enjoy the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art’s free weekly Sunday workshop this Sunday March 1st at 2pm featuring Minecraft fun for children using colorful blocks to design their custom pixelated portraits. Free.
Don’t miss the 2015 Flyers Wives Carnival happening this Sunday March 1st starting at 1:30pm at the Wells Fargo Center. Come out to meet your favorite Flyers including laude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds, Jake Voracek, Steve Mason, Ron Hextall, Bernie Parent and others. And kids will also be able to take part in other festival fun including a giant slide, games and chances and more.
