Set in 19th century Holland, this new production celebrates the importance of grit and determination, the value of generosity, and the thrill of flying down the ice on a pair of skates. $20-$36.
Head to the Swarthmore United Methodist Church on Sat. Dec. 5th starting at 10:30am for the 11th Annual World of Song Children’s Holiday Benefit Concert for Charity. The day will include songs, dance, art activities, facepainting, food, and crafter’s tables, too. $8. Infants free. Proceeds benefit Anabelle’s Wish.
Christmas Village in Love Park continues this weekend running Dec. 4th – Dec. 6th. Enjoy this German style Christmas village and grand opening ceremony on Sat. Nov. 28th with the arrival of Christkind from Germany’s oldest Christmas markets, the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg at 3pm. Free.
A Very Furry Christmas continues this weekend at Sesame Place in Langhorne PA. This beloved family-friendly celebration happens Sat. Dec. 4th and Sunday Dec. 6th and features everyone’s favorite furry Sesame Street friends. Kids of all ages will be delighted as the park is transformed into a one of a kind Christmas wonderland with lights, shows, holiday menus and of course Santa in his Furry Workshop too! The family-friendly Lucia Fest is happening this Saturday Dec. 5th at the American Swedish Historical Museum. Drop in for family fun with Lucia processions at 1pm and 3pm and a Christmas market with holidays items and baked goods too. $10 for non-members, $4 for kids ages 4-12. Under 4 free.

Jack Frost Saves Christmas, a family musical for children continues this weekend Saturday Dec. 5th and Sun. Dec. 6th at The Media Theatre. In this hour long musical Jack Frost must journey to Christmastown to save the holidays. Geared for ages 4 and up. Tickets $12-15.
