The Art of the Brick continues this weekend running Friday April 3rd through Sunday April 5th at The Franklin Institute. The display of LEGO brick masterpieces explores the intersection of art and science and will delight builders and LEGO fans of all ages. Tickets $24-$29 and does not include museum admission.
Fancy Nancy The Musical is a fun family performance your little ones will enjoy at the Walnut Street Theater running shows this weekend Saturday April 4th at 11am. Show runs 1 hour. Tickets $14-$16.
Don’t miss your last chance to hop on a hayride to Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards in Media this weekend for a fun hayride and special meet and greet with the Easter Bunny. $8 per person.
The Barnes Foundation celebrates spring with Gardens of Delight happening Saturday April 4th from 1-4pm as part of their family ARTSee series. The whole family can get in on the floral fun to prepare for Earth Day by digging in the garden bag, fashioning flowers and even paining an original garden. Free drop-in tickets at the front desk. The annual Great Egg Hunt at Franklin Square takes place Easter Sunday April 5th starting from 11am – 2pm. Kids 10 and under can hunt for treat filled eggs throughout Franklin Square Playground. Free. Pre-registration required on day of event from 10am – 11am.
Hop on over to Headhouse Square on South Street for the 84th annual Easter Promenade and family fun. The parade runs from Passyunk Ave and South Street down to Headhouse Square. Plus enjoy live music, Easter treats, photo opps with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail and lots more. Free.
The Easter Sunday Celebration takes place at the Camden Children’s Garden this Sunday April 5th from 1-4pm. The whole family will enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny in the treehouse and other Easter fun. Plus get a free ride on the Garden Carousel, too. $6 per person. 2 and under free.
